Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct estimations for commercial roofing projects, including field take-offs, budgeting, and managing change orders.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, sales personnel, and management.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation during the estimation phase.
  • Perform roof surveys and take-offs, including creating detailed roof drawings, measuring roof areas, and assessing logistical challenges.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of various roofing systems, waterproofing, and plaza decks.
  • Utilize provided estimating software to calculate project costs.
  • Possess knowledge of commercial roofing systems and relevant terminology.
  • Understand Florida Building Code, Miami Dade Product Approvals, and roofing material manufacturers' systems.
  • Experience with estimating software, particularly the Edge Estimating Software, is advantageous.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Provide excellent telephone support, managing priorities and urgent calls with professionalism.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills.
  • Be self-motivated and capable of inspiring others.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to draft estimates, change orders, photo reports, and proposals.
  • Show strong learning capabilities.
  • Be proficient with office technology, especially MS Office applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Utilize smartphones for emails and internet browsing.
  • Maintain exceptional organizational skills.
  • Be a customer service-oriented team player, eager to assist colleagues.
