This is a unique opportunity to work with high-end, custom roof systems, which require a deep understanding of complex roof designs, labor, and material costs. You will analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project and determine the factors of production that will influence the cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimation and Analysis: Perform detailed estimates for residential projects, including shingle, tile, and metal roofs, and analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
  • Market Pricing and Reporting: Maintain current market pricing for materials in the estimating system and generate job cost reports.
  • Vendor and Contractor Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors.
  • Project Hand-Off and Presentations: Perform hand-off meetings with assigned project managers and present prepared estimates to management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate degree in Construction or a similar field, preferred. Familiarity with The Edge estimating software, a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow. Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for residential projects. Ability to read and interpret technical documents. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
