Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Estimator to join our team at FastLane Recruitment Group. As a Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from design to execution, performing detailed estimates, and analyzing requirement documents to determine project costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects from design to execution, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Estimating: Perform detailed estimates for residential projects, including shingle, tile, and metal roofs.
  • Analysis: Analyze requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project and determine factors that influence cost.
  • Market Research: Maintain current market pricing for materials in the estimating system.
  • Reporting: Generate job cost reports and present prepared estimates to management.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors.
  • Hand-Off Meetings: Perform hand-off meetings with assigned project managers.
Requirements
  • Local Experience: Must be local to Florida and have roofing experience in this state.
  • Software Experience: Experience with The Edge estimating software.
  • Roofing Experience: Experience with high-end roofs.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for residential projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
