National Account Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced National Account Development Manager to join our team at Michael Page. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy, driving growth in electromechanical products across multiple industries.
About the RoleThis role involves leading and managing a team of regional sales representatives, working closely with distributors to meet and exceed sales targets. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
You will expand market presence by targeting key accounts in industries such as industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing, and more. Your primary goal will be to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), integrators, and distributors.
You will act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring high levels of satisfaction by offering tailored solutions to meet their electromechanical needs. You will provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates on pipeline activity, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
You will track sales performance against targets and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure sales goals are met. You will work closely with internal product management and marketing teams to align sales efforts with product launches, promotional campaigns, and technical support.
You will ensure that customer feedback is communicated to the development teams to refine product offerings. You will monitor market trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities in the electromechanical product space to stay ahead of the competition.
You will use this knowledge to adjust sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities. You will provide training and support to sales teams and distributors on product knowledge, sales tactics, and industry best practices.
Salary: $168,500 - $178,500 per year, plus performance-based commissions and bonuses. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Company car or travel reimbursement provided. Remote work flexibility with occasional travel to the Brockton, MA office.
