Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable Processing: Code and process approved invoices for payment processing by month end, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Vendor Management: Reconcile Vendor Statements and contact vendors for missing invoice(s), resolving any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Expense Verification: Verify receipt of all Utility, Insurance, Fuel, and Phone expenses before month end, ensuring accurate and complete records.
  • Accruals and Reporting: Prepare monthly accruals and generate weekly aging reports for CFO review, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Employee Expense Reports: Process Employee expense reports according to company policy, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Check Selection and Processing: Process weekly check selection, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping: Respond to vendor communication in a timely manner, maintaining accurate and organized records of invoices and payments.
  • Support to CFO: Assist CFO on assigned projects as needed, providing support and expertise in accounts payable processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with SAGE and AMEX statements is a plus, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other accounting software.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to review and exercise good judgment, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
