- Review Reports and Identify Outstanding Items: Analyze reports to identify outstanding items, follow up with royalty payors for resolution, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Use Review Checklist for Underwriting Accuracy: Utilize a review checklist to ensure underwriting accuracy and maintain high-quality standards.
- Track Pending Items and Update Records: Monitor pending items from customers, update SFDC records in a timely manner, and ensure accurate tracking.
- Analyze Credit and Search Reports: Interpret gathered information, take appropriate actions, and ensure accurate assessment of customer creditworthiness.
- Process Cash Advances and Loan Payoffs: Clear title to royalty payments by processing cash advances or loan payoffs, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
- Keep Royalty Specialists Informed: Maintain open communication with Royalty Specialists, ensuring they are informed of status and outstanding items related to each deal.
- 2+ Years of Experience: Proven experience as a Jr. Underwriter or in a similar role within the financial industry.
- Strong Understanding of Risk Assessment and Underwriting Principles: Demonstrated knowledge of risk assessment and underwriting principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Detail-Oriented with a Focus on Accuracy: High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
- Proficiency in CRM Systems and Software Applications: Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software applications, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to Work Collaboratively: Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a Related Field: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
