Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Schedule and coordinate workload support of legal management activities, ensuring timely completion of projects and tasks.
  • Research and Analysis: Perform research and analyze information in response to legal issues, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Contract Administration: Review and recommend budget projections for outside counsel and vendors expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and provide input, processes, and results for data management systems, enhancing the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Conduct interviews to gather background information and identify issues for legal review, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Intellectual Property Management: Identify and protect all oral and written communications, ensuring the safeguarding of proprietary and confidential information.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least seven (7) or more years of relevant legal experience, with a strong background in contract administration, research, and analysis.
  • Education: Paralegal Certificate and Bachelor's degree desired, with a strong understanding of business operations and legal principles.
  • Skills: Outstanding writing and analytical abilities, with proficiency in performing legal research via Lexis and/or Westlaw, and experience with SharePoint set-up, Webex set-up, and records management systems.
