Job Overview

The Customer Service Specialist role is an exciting opportunity within our comprehensive insurance agency.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities associated with this customer service role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing client accounts and policy services
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Considering cross-selling opportunities
  • Processing payments
  • Assisting with client retention
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Corresponding via email
  • Following up with clients
  • Quoting for new and existing business
  • Tracking past due accounts and cancellations
  • Supporting assigned tasks as directed by the agent

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a valid license in property and casualty insurance.

It is preferred that candidates also possess licenses in life and health insurance.

If not already licensed in life and health, candidates will be required to obtain these licenses within 60 days of hire.

Reimbursement programs for Life/Health class and exam fees are available according to contract specifications provided during the final interview stages.

Completion of an assessment is necessary for consideration in the initial interview process. This assessment evaluates personality traits, job environment preferences, and management style to ensure a good fit for both the applicant and the employer.
