RiverStone Group, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist for our Building Materials division. This position operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with occasional Saturday hours from 8 AM to noon, depending on seasonal demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, prompt, and efficient service to customers both in-person and via telephone.
  • Advise customers on product selections tailored to their needs.
  • Clearly communicate instructions to vendors, customers, and team members.
  • Accurately process customer transactions, including sales, voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Maintain precise records of daily cash flow and payments.
  • Handle the receiving, processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices.
  • Assist in keeping the indoor and outdoor showroom clean and organized.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures while fostering respectful relationships with colleagues.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, addressing inquiries or processing new orders.
  • Regularly assess inventory levels and reorder products as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal communication skills are essential for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for accurate data entry.
  • Ability to read and interpret invoices, bills of lading, and purchase orders.
  • Capacity to multitask effectively, prioritizing customer needs.
  • Strong mathematical skills for processing customer orders efficiently.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Consistent attendance is vital for team success.
