Job Description

Related Affordable is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team. As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our affordable housing portfolio is in compliance with all regulatory agreements and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and implement changes in HUD and LIHTC regulations and requirements.
  • Review and approve move-in files to ensure applicants meet income and program eligibility criteria.
  • Provide training and support to site staff on compliance-related questions and program regulations.
  • Develop and update policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with all regulatory agreements and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate tenant files and computer records in accordance with HUD and LIHTC regulations.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of hands-on regulatory compliance experience with Project Based Section 8 HUD, LIHTC, and other CA affordable housing program compliance.
  • COS or TCS certification is required.
  • Knowledge of HUD 4350.3, EIV, LIHTC income limits and rent calculations, Fair Housing, and Real Estate Licensing.
