  • Contribute to control system platform roadmaps and innovation projects; collaborate with engineering teams to assess needs, enhance capabilities, and adapt platforms for new applications.
  • Develop testing solutions for control validation; create and specify test fixtures; and support the continuous improvement of automated testing systems.
  • Provide ongoing support for released control systems; investigate root causes and develop solutions for identified field issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience and solid laboratory skills; a commitment to ensuring functionality in both lab and field settings.
  • Proficiency in developing embedded C code for DSPs; strong coding abilities.
  • Experience with system simulation environments (e.g., PLECS, Matlab/Simulink, PSIM).
  • Demonstrated understanding of application physics and first principles; familiarity with power electronics or power systems is advantageous.
  • Aptitude for performing trade-off analyses, identifying issues, and driving technical decisions.
  • Ability to develop Python scripts for analysis and data processing.
  • Skill in identifying key technical issues and communicating them effectively.
  • Familiarity with analog and digital circuitry; capability to model and account for circuitry in control system design.
  • Knowledge of fieldbus networking protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus).
  • Experience with version/release management tools (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools such as Jira.
