POSITION OVERVIEW

Candidates should possess a robust technical foundation that enables them to transition electrical hardware from initial concept through to production and beyond.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accelerate Learning and Development:

Quickly enhance knowledge of products, tools, and methodologies (including Altium Designer, Electrical SPICE simulation, Embedded C, and Agile development practices) to effectively contribute to electrical hardware design and validation processes.


Design, Validate, and Implement Electrical Hardware Solutions: Utilize comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power electronics, communication protocols, and board design to deliver competitive solutions.

Interpret and adhere to industry and customer standards (such as EMC, ESD, and vibration testing) to ensure robust system validation and compliance.

Support Electrical Hardware Lifecycle:

Employ expertise to transform engineering specifications into tangible outcomes. Collaborate with PCB fabrication, assembly manufacturing, testing laboratories, component suppliers, and software engineers to deliver high-value solutions throughout the product lifecycle.


Provide Outstanding Customer Engagement and Communication: Partner closely with both internal and external stakeholders during the concept, development, and launch phases to address inquiries, troubleshoot challenges, and foster collaboration across teams.


Comprehensive Understanding of Electrical Systems: Leverage knowledge across software, mechanical, and electrical domains to set up simulations, conduct tests, and modify PCB assemblies.

Demonstrate the ability to deconstruct complex electrical systems into their fundamental components, applying this understanding to propose, implement, test, and validate solutions against requirements.


COLLABORATIVE TEAM MEMBER:
Exhibit strong teamwork skills to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Balance meticulous attention to detail with the ability to meet project deadlines while adhering to quality, safety, and communication standards.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in embedded PCB power electronics, board design, layout, testing, and debugging
- Proficiency in 3D board layout design software
- Experience in simulating electronic circuits
- Ability to interpret and create schematics, circuit diagrams, requirements documents, and test plans
- Familiarity with electrical standards applicable to mobile equipment
- Experience in C programming and MCU development tools
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Authorization to work in the United States

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and Embedded C
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to launch products
- Interest in Siemens Simcenter Amesim for physical modeling
- Familiarity with functional safety and security standards
- Experience in working with electrical component manufacturers throughout the product lifecycle
- Knowledge of hydraulic control systems and their applications
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience in writing software requirements and documentation
- Proficiency in Git version control system
