Clinical Dietitian II

At Sutter Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and/or Diabetes Self-management Education/Training (DSMT) to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Implement patient care plans based on diagnosis and exercise sound judgment and developed clinical skills.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
- Completion of an accredited degree program and a supervised practice program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.
- RD-Registered Dietitian/RDN-Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification or eligibility to sit for the registration examination for dietitians within 90 days of hire.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience.
- Provides complex care using a strong understanding of human anatomy, pathophysiology, pharmacology, laboratory results, and medical terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

- Work autonomously, as well as part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
