Dietitian II

The County of Riverside is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian II to join our Clinical Nutrition Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing, coordinating, and evaluating medical nutrition therapy for hospital inpatients and outpatients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nutrition programs for patients with various medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
- Conduct nutritional assessments and provide personalized nutrition counseling to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Supervise and mentor dietetic technicians and other staff members as needed.
- Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a dietitian in a clinical setting.
