Clinical Nurse II, Psychiatric Nurse, Full-Time, Evening Shift, 8-Hour Schedule

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team at John George Psychiatric Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care to adults in a hospital setting, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and ADLs, in accordance with established nursing standards and policies.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I with Alameda Health System or equivalent experience in a comparable setting.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and other relevant specialties, as required by the facility or unit/department.
- One year of full-time experience working with adults in a hospital setting.
- Experience with trauma care, critical care, or other specialized areas, as required by the facility or unit/department.
