Head of Facilities and Engineering

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our facilities and engineering operations at our New England R&D Hub. As Head of Facilities and Engineering, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and infrastructure across our R&D site operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a single point of accountability for engineering services to the VP, R&D Engineering Services.
- Collaborate with peers within the Central Engineering & EHS organization.
- Deliver all facilities and services within the New England R&D Hub, ensuring cost, quality, and compliance targets are achieved by key contract partners.
- Manage relationships with senior managers in GSK to ensure facilities infrastructure and services facilitate and support the full range of business operations.
- Build regional organizational capability and competence to deliver objectives, working with the RDES Central Teams to identify and execute value-add projects.
- Ensure capital project delivery is appropriately prioritized to mitigate risk, support GSK business strategy, and improve the site environmental sustainability.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline required.
- 10+ years of experience in and Operations or Engineering leadership role in a GMP environment required.
- Pharma or Biotech R&D Engineering environment required.
- Experience delivering and managing large Capital Projects across a region working with CAPEX, OPEX, and P&L required.
