Job Summary

The Senior Account Executive position is responsible for planning and strategy of marketing plans for assigned clients. The SAE may also be responsible for managing the planned marketing campaigns and keeping the project work on time and on budget. This position will be working heavily in the incentive space. This role will also have opportunities to manage promotions and/or plan strategy for non-retainer clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall strategy development and effective deployment across all brands
  • Create best practices and frameworks for plan development, measurement, and optimization; Enable consistent methods for plan implementation across the organization
  • Work with relevant agency contacts on planning and follow process for budget/objective handoff from agency to pep
  • Oversee relationship with any relevant agencies
  • Understand brand objectives and be able to provide POV on strategy development
  • Monitor competitive activity and leverage data, analytics and insights to identify opportunities and programming optimizations
  • Work with relevant pep team members to move marketing plan from the planning phase to execution phase
  • Assist with managing promotion when necessary
  • Conduct regular status meetings with clients, suppliers, and internal resources to ensure a flawless execution, review results and analytics, or discuss strategy optimization
  • Lead establishment and development of new or improved processes/procedures
Requirements
  • Experience planning brand strategy and creating marketing plans
  • Ability to identify and provide creative solutions to challenges
  • Able to deliver in a fast-paced environment and manage numerous projects consecutively while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Excellent organizing, time management and oral & written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Able to build relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, vendors, and clients to successfully accomplish work
  • Effectively proofing own and others work to ensure accuracy
  • Actively and effectively managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Demonstrate internal leadership and collaborate to deliver projects to clients with agreed upon scope
  • Ability to mentor, grow and work harmoniously as part of a larger team
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
Preferred Skills
  • Above average proficiency in Excel
  • Typing skills should be a minimum of 55 wpm
