About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive sales activity for assigned product lines within an assigned territory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering specialty product value proposition and acting as the subject matter expert. This is a field sales position that requires strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of sales professionals and drive sales activity for assigned product lines
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business and renewals
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to sell the ProQuest One Suite of Products across North America
  • Manage 1-2 Product Sales Managers and work closely with the Account Managers
  • Interface with Revenue and business unit leadership as needed
About the Team

You will join a global team of Product Sales experts that support the Academic & Government business collaborating with all org functions, such as: Product, Global Sales & Marketing, and IT through our management team. The team works with market leading products for academic and public libraries.

Requirements
  • 7 years of experience leading demonstrations, trainings, and presentations
  • 7 years of experience articulating value propositions for specialty product(s) and responding to inquiries about product functionality
  • 7 years of proven track record of successful technology and/or online content sales
  • 3 years of experience leading sales teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong collaborating skills with the ability to work well in a highly matrixed environment
  • Ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile and draw meaningful conclusions and action plans from data to develop sales strategy
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships
