Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at Quadrant, Inc. as a Registered Nurse - Clinical Research Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for coordinating clinical research studies and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen patients for protocol eligibility and review trials with patients to enroll them in studies.
  • Review informed consent process with patients and handle all patient blood draws.
  • Coordinate patient care, dispense investigational drugs, and provide education to patients regarding administration.
  • Oversee patients for changes in condition, adverse events, compliance, and response to study drug.
  • Document all findings and maintain accurate and timely data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting.
  • Schedule and participate in monitoring and auditing activities.
  • Maintain regulatory documents in accordance with USOR SOP and applicable regulations.
  • Participate in required training and education programs and educate clinic staff regarding clinical research.
  • Identify quality and performance improvement opportunities and collaborate with staff in the development of action plans to improve quality.
  • Report and compile protocol activity and data.
Requirements:
  • CRC Certification required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Nurse.
  • Experience with assessing patients, drawing blood from patients, and working with sponsors.
  • Strong experience educating clinical research participants and going over informed consent.
  • Experience with regulatory documents and strong computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills-written and verbal.
  • Experience with clinical research paperwork and a Registered Nurse with Virginia license.
  • Possess sound judgment, good communication, and business acumen skills.
  • Be able to maintain good communication with supervisors, co-workers, and study team.
