Job Summary:

The role involves utilizing professional expertise in psychology for assessment, diagnosis, intervention, consultation, and supervision within UT Health Services. The position requires extensive interaction with patients and collaboration with other mental health and medical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' psychological well-being and provide treatment recommendations, including referrals to other health professionals when necessary.
  • Deliver individual, couples, and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and recommend psychological testing as required.
  • Provide consultation within the department and collaborate with medical staff.
  • Supervise doctoral interns.
  • Engage in campus education and outreach initiatives related to mental health.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology with a minimum of two years of professional clinical experience.
  • Provisionally Licensed Psychologists will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • More than two years of professional clinical experience.
  • Licensed as a Psychologist in Texas.
Background Check Requirement:

A criminal background check will be conducted on any applicant under final consideration for employment.
