About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Health. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient access services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Manage patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification processes
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve patient access issues and improve patient flow
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and revenue cycle efficiency
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare registration
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
  • Preferred qualifications: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)
