Position Overview:
As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating patient interactions and ensuring a seamless experience within the healthcare system.

This position encompasses a range of responsibilities including the collection of patient information, verification of insurance details, and providing clear explanations of hospital protocols and documentation. The coordinator is also responsible for securing necessary signatures, discussing financial obligations, and initiating the appropriate care processes.

The Patient Care Coordinator diligently processes essential information for all patients, adhering to established departmental and interdepartmental guidelines while maintaining a patient-centered approach to admissions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage patient data and documentation.
- Address inquiries and provide assistance regarding hospital policies.
- Collect and process payments and financial information.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing and managing phone communications.
- Maintain composure and effectiveness in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience in customer service roles.

Preferred:
- Six months of experience in an office setting, preferably in a medical environment.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records systems.
