Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at DaVita Inc. in Waterbury, Connecticut.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work early mornings, days, evenings, and rotating Saturday shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent patient care and support to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to achieve patient goals and improve health outcomes.
  • Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis machines.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements:
  • Current LPN-LVN license in the state of Connecticut required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • IV certification required if required by state regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
