Your Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with our agency, you will be instrumental in promoting the health and comfort of our residents. Your responsibilities will include delivering direct nursing care, administering prescribed medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring the effective execution of care plans.

Key Duties:

  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and health information.
  • Work alongside the interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide wound care and other necessary nursing interventions.
  • Oversee and assist Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in providing care.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position, candidates should possess:

  • A valid Connecticut State LPN license.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • An interest in the nursing needs of elderly and chronically ill patients.
  • Strong clinical skills, particularly in medication administration.
