Your Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee all aspects of surveying and geospatial operations within the region.
* Manage, plan, and schedule multiple surveying and geospatial projects for internal and external clients.
* Represent WSP at external meetings, conferences, and business development activities.
* Administer contracts and proposals.
* Foster a positive work environment.
* Screen and hire new team members.
* Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct.

Requirements:

* Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in the state of Florida.
* Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Surveying, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in surveying, with prior experience in a corporate environment.
* High-level experience with public and private sector work.
* Advanced proficiency with land survey principles, practices, and techniques.
* Highly proficient expertise with relevant codes, regulations, and record-keeping requirements.
* Demonstrated technical competence leading and reviewing technical reports and survey mapping efforts.
* Ability to work independently and provide guidance to team members.
* Experienced with providing critical review for documents and preparing technical deliverables.
* Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adhering to WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree.
* Additional State PLS/PSM Licensures (Georgia, Alabama, Puerto Rico).
* Experience with Remote Sensing Project Delivery and Planning.
