Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business plans for each property to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
  • Work closely with the Asset Management department to prepare annual budgets and ensure timely completion of capital improvements.
  • Maintain controllable expenses within approved budgets and ensure delinquencies are at or below specified levels.
  • Achieve or exceed budgeted revenues and occupancy goals.
  • Partner with community management and staff to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and approve annual rent increase proposals and ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Establish and monitor a closing process to ensure all move-in requirements are completed.
  • Work with Property Managers to maintain high-quality grounds and common area facilities.
  • Provide direction and feedback to employees as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales and Operations departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in regional property management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to present information to senior executives.
