Key Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, you will carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and replacements of HVAC mechanical systems, Building Control Systems, Security Systems, or Fire Alarm Systems.

You will provide Level 1 technical support and assist in the technical development of team members. It is essential to ensure that all work complies with state, local, and federal regulations while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing all necessary project and service documentation.
  • Providing safety training and awareness to subcontractors on job sites.
  • Acting as an escalation point for technical issues and delivering on-the-job training for fellow technicians.
  • Being recognized as an expert in your field by both colleagues and clients.
  • Assisting management in ensuring that proper operational practices are followed by other technicians.
  • Regularly contributing insights on training and development needs within the branch.
  • Helping identify material requirements for service delivery.

You will also assist the Service Manager or Customer Service Agent in scheduling individuals with the appropriate skills and knowledge for repairs or installations. Managing assigned tasks to ensure professional execution, timely completion, and customer satisfaction is crucial.

Consultative Services: You will provide expert-level consultation for clients regarding building system repairs and enhancements.

It is required to complete all necessary training and certifications as mandated by the company. Membership in the local #146 United Pipefitters Association is necessary, and journeyman status is required.

Leadership Skills: In addition to technical expertise, Technical Team Leads should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. The ability to work independently and coordinate the efforts of other employees and contractors on-site is essential.
