KE Camps stands as the premier provider of summer camp experiences for private clubs across the nation. We collaborate with numerous exclusive clubs to deliver traditional-style day camps tailored for children in elementary school. Our team members are essential to our operations, and we are committed to providing them with extensive support. As a member of our team, you will feel an integral part of the KE Camps family.

Role of a Camp Activities Leader

In the capacity of a Camp Activities Leader, you will engage actively in all camp events and assist your Camp Director with various daily responsibilities, all aimed at crafting a memorable and impactful experience for the campers. Our Leaders interact with campers throughout the day, fostering friendships, encouraging new experiences, and ensuring their overall well-being. The role involves participation, relationship-building, and enjoyment while safeguarding the physical and emotional safety of each child.

Essential Qualities
  • Ability to nurture children's growth in character and experiences
  • Commitment to ensuring the health and safety of campers at all times
  • Capacity to maintain energy for a full day of activities
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Attributes such as Enthusiasm, Responsibility, Dependability, Consistency, Level-Headedness, Flexibility, and Calmness in various situations
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to the summer season
Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with a group of campers to provide a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience
  • Collaborate with fellow Leaders and the Camp Director
  • Welcome families and campers upon their arrival
  • Assist the Camp Director in establishing rules and emergency protocols with campers
  • Participate in all camp activities
  • Oversee daily swim sessions in a hands-on manner from within the water (lifeguard certification not required)
  • Assist where needed and lead activities as directed by the Camp Director
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned
