Position Overview
Role Details:
We are in search of a dynamic and skilled Automation & Controls Engineer to enhance our flourishing manufacturing division.
As a pivotal member of our organization, you will be tasked with the design, execution, and upkeep of intricate automation and control systems.
This position is well-suited for an individual with a robust background in preventive and predictive maintenance, robotics, Allen Bradley, and RSLogix5000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on robotic systems and automated machinery to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Utilize Allen Bradley and RSLogix5000 for programming and troubleshooting PLC systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint areas for process enhancement and devise solutions to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including system designs, specifications, and operation manuals.
- Educate and mentor technical personnel on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in automation technology and incorporate them into operations where advantageous.
- Ensure all automation and control systems adhere to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation and controls engineering within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficient with Allen Bradley and RSLogix5000 for PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience in preventive and predictive maintenance of robotic systems and automated machinery.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
