Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Reliability Engineer is to lead and guide the maintenance operations within the facility. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, this role ensures the optimal and efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and resources in the maintenance department. The Reliability Engineer will define, implement, and oversee the systems, structures, training programs, and processes essential for achieving and maintaining reliability objectives. This position is crucial in cultivating a proactive culture that prioritizes reliability and effective asset management throughout the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Mechanical or electrical background with technical school education.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in reliability engineering processes.
- Certification as a Maintenance and Reliability Professional is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is essential; Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Asset Management, and condition monitoring principles.
- Expertise in maintenance and reliability, material management, planning and scheduling, and/or CMMS/EAM/ERP optimization.
- Proficiency in popular CMMS solutions such as Maximo 7.6, SAP Maintenance, and MVP Plant.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a tactful approach.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
