TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUSINESS ANALYST

This role involves managing key documentation processes such as the Statement of Work (SOW) and Schedule of Value (SOV) within the telecommunications sector.

Essential Skills Required: ERP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Item and Service Master experience

Fort Point LLC is seeking a dedicated Telecommunications Business Analyst to collaborate with management across various business units. The primary focus will be on developing and maintaining the Schedule of Value, Statement of Work, and Item Master records necessary for the procurement of materials and engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and refine processes to ensure consistency and accurate cost accounting across all business sectors.
  • Oversee the management of National Schedules of Value (SOV) and Statements of Work (SOW) documentation.
  • Enhance SOV processes to align with Supply Chain initiatives, including negotiations for volume discounts and cost reduction strategies.
  • Coordinate change requests for SOVs and SOWs, facilitating cross-functional discussions and securing necessary approvals.
  • Ensure that new SOV and SOW align with Job Costing and IT systems, tracking updates until successful implementation.
  • Create, manage, and update Item Master numbers within the ERP systems.
  • Integrate processes across business lines to leverage volume discount opportunities and improve financial reporting.
  • Support the execution of Supply Chain projects to meet organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years in services management, construction management, project management, or a related field.

Additional Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Small Cell, Fiber, and/or Tower operations.
  • Ability to extract and analyze data for reporting purposes.
  • Proven capability to meet project deadlines and manage resources effectively.
  • Experience in executing process improvement initiatives and project management.
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards and Oracle systems.
  • Knowledge of VBA is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Willingness to accommodate a travel requirement of up to 10%.
