Fort Point, LLC is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to collaborate with management across various business sectors within the telecommunications domain. The primary responsibility will be to develop and uphold the Schedule of Value, Statement of Work, and Item Master records that are essential for bidding and awarding materials, as well as engineering and construction service contracts. This role emphasizes the creation and execution of item master records and SOVs to enhance cost efficiency, facilitate cost savings, and standardize bidding and contracting processes. Additionally, the Business Analyst will contribute to process enhancement initiatives across all business sectors.



Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate processes to guarantee standardization, uniformity, and accurate cost accounting across all business sectors.
  • Oversee the National Schedules of Value (SOV) and Statements of Work (SOW) documentation for all business lines.
  • Refine SOV processes and formats to align with Supply Chain strategic goals, including volume discount negotiations and minimizing service expenditures.
  • Manage change requests for all SOVs and SOWs nationally, facilitating cross-functional discussions and approvals.
  • Ensure that new SOV and SOW align with Job Costing and IT, tracking updates until full implementation.
  • Create, maintain, and eliminate Item Master numbers within the two ERP systems.
  • Align and integrate processes and documentation across all business lines to uncover additional volume discount opportunities and enhance financial reporting.
  • Support the execution of Supply Chain projects to achieve organizational objectives.


Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.


Experience and Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in services management, construction management, project management, or a related field.


Skills and Abilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of Small Cell, Fiber, and/or Tower operations.
  • Familiarity with data sets available for reporting purposes.
  • Proficient in meeting project deadlines and managing resources effectively.
  • Experience in executing process improvement initiatives and project management.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and Oracle systems.
  • Proficiency in VBA is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Able to accommodate a travel requirement of up to 10%.
