Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors to the office.
- Manage inventory and replenish office supplies as necessary.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Process employee access requests and issue gate passes.
- Maintain the office lunchroom by regularly restocking supplies.
- Generate labels and documentation from the ERP system to aid Operations/Supervision.
- Prepare necessary shipping documents for the Shipping Department.
- Communicate with clients regarding delivery updates.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for office equipment.
- Handle purchase orders by receiving requests, issuing, and archiving them.
- Manage sales and laboratory invoices, ensuring accurate records.
- Update the accounts payable database with relevant order information.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm or modify orders as needed.
- Ensure proper handling of products in the shipping and receiving department.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for vendor and customer invoices and orders.
- Cross-check product deliveries against purchase orders and collaborate with Accounts Payable for processing.
- Provide backup support for Customer Service and Accounts Payable teams when required.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- An associate's degree or three years of relevant business experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Physical capability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- A self-motivated and adaptable nature, thriving in a dynamic work environment.
- A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills to work across various teams.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a willingness to learn company-specific systems.
