In this role, the Senior Solutions Analyst will operate under moderate supervision, showcasing innovative problem-solving skills while aiding in the documentation, planning, and execution of small to medium-sized project teams to provide solutions for intricate business challenges.

Familiarity with Management Information Systems (MIS) strategy, technical frameworks, and security measures is essential.

The analyst will be adept at dissecting current processes, identifying pain points, discussing remediation strategies with relevant stakeholders, and proposing technical solutions for enhancement and modernization.

Additionally, they will adhere to planning schedules to coordinate technical improvements while synchronizing implementation timelines with all involved parties.

Effective communication of personal and team progress to project stakeholders is crucial, as is collaboration with project teams to establish work plans and provide essential training, coaching, and guidance to end users or stakeholders regarding solution deployment.

The Senior Solutions Analyst will have some discretion in setting objectives, priorities, and timelines that may influence departmental or individual workgroups, often working alongside managers and functional site leaders as well as external partners.

Independently managing tasks with limited oversight, the analyst will collaborate with custom, packaged, business intelligence, and operations platform project teams to define and implement project solutions, efforts, and timelines.

It is imperative to ensure that system analysis designs and process maps are clearly documented and communicated with project stakeholders and MIS management. Presenting solutions to the architecture review board is necessary to guarantee alignment with architecture, security, data integration, and identity protocols.
The analyst will tackle complex issues by breaking down business and systems requirements into functional and technical specifications. Solutions must align with MIS strategy. Close collaboration with project stakeholders and process leads is required to identify pain points, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for modernization. The analyst will resolve and evaluate a broad spectrum of issues and propose variations in approach.
Collaboration with internal and external teams to identify process enhancements, focusing on automation and self-service, is essential. Working with process owners, the analyst will understand tactical and strategic plans to support operations. They will provide project-specific insights to contribute to the overall strategic roadmap for a domain. Evaluating unusual circumstances and employing advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify root causes is part of the role.

Project management responsibilities include promoting and educating project teams about planning protocols, maintaining appropriate communication with all stakeholders, fostering agile methodologies, and driving rapid, iterative delivery of value.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of experience in managing technical solution implementations; OR
Associate's degree with seven (7) years of experience in managing technical solution implementations; OR
High School diploma or equivalent with nine (9) years of experience in managing technical solution implementations.
Communication Skills: Ability to create communication plans and RACI charts suitable for diverse audiences.
Produce comprehensive status reports for program leadership.
Clearly articulate project objectives and value added.
Effectively communicate findings and outcomes achieved.

Process Analysis Skills: Proficient in deconstructing business processes into system workflows and decision trees.
Capable of translating business processes into system requirements.
Able to recommend process options with an emphasis on standardization and self-service.

Implementation Skills: Defines and manages technical implementations on medium-complexity projects.
Capable of explaining, coaching, and advising end users on proper configuration and system usage.
Can develop change management plans with appropriate training and communication strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:
Recent graduates with relevant degrees (MIS, Computer Science, etc.).
Successful internship experience focusing on applicable business processes, IT services, and/or technology solutions.
Familiarity with Microsoft Online (O365/M365) environment, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Whiteboard, Delve, Word, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Experience in Agile project management methodologies and working with Agile teams, developers, architects, and business customers.
Direct experience with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and gather solution requirements.
Experience in analyzing business processes and using requirements to develop common data models.
Proficient in data analysis and manipulation.
Familiarity with Visio and project management software (MS Project, Planner, AzureDevOps).
Understanding and demonstration of Freeport Edge principles and behaviors.

Work Environment:

Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in environments such as mines, outdoor settings, manufacturing, or plants, including hard hats, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and, as necessary, respirators, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves, and any other required protective gear.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $79,000 to $109,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be provided during the hiring process.
