Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Business Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring that the development tasks align with the business objectives and requirements. This position is essential for defining clear specifications and confirming that a comprehensive end-to-end solution is recognized and agreed upon by both the BI development team and the business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review business-facing deliverables produced by the BI team against user acceptance criteria to ensure accuracy and completeness before they are shared with the business.
- Engage with business stakeholders for any necessary follow-up after asset delivery.
- Act as a center of excellence within the Business Intelligence function, focusing on the identification, requirements gathering, development, and ongoing maintenance of reports, dashboards, visualizations, and analytical models for the organization.

This role will involve close collaboration with data analysts, data engineers, data modelers, and data scientists to understand the details of solutions that meet business requirements. Additionally, it will require working with other teams to communicate feasibility and constraints of solutions.

Additional Duties:
- Serve as a backup for team members, assisting with intake and requirement discovery, managing the ticketing queue, and documenting detailed technical requirements and user acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to the creation of internal documentation relevant to data warehousing and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.

What You Will Do:
- Validate the quality and accuracy of business-facing assets against established user acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Collaborate with business analysts on any identified defects or performance issues.
- Follow up with requestors to ensure proper usage and adoption of delivered solutions.
- Develop test cases tailored to business requirements and maintain a suite of regression test plans.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- A Master's degree in Business or Information Technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analyst role is required.
- At least 2 years of hands-on IT project experience in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple medium to large complexity projects with minimal oversight is necessary.
- Experience in the information technology and/or banking/financial industry is preferred.

Proficiency in using JIRA or similar work management software, writing basic SQL queries, and strong attention to detail is essential. Candidates should possess excellent organizational skills, relationship-building abilities, and customer service skills. Expertise in creating and documenting test cases, including regression test cases, is preferred. Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies, as well as experience with visualization platforms such as PowerBI or Tableau, is required.
