In this role, the Senior Solutions Analyst will operate under moderate supervision, showcasing innovative problem-solving skills while contributing to the documentation, planning, and execution of small to medium-sized project teams aimed at delivering solutions for intricate business challenges.

Familiarity with Management Information Systems (MIS) strategy, technical frameworks, and security measures is essential.

The analyst will be adept at dissecting existing workflows, identifying pain points, collaborating with relevant stakeholders on remediation strategies, and proposing technical enhancements to modernize operations.

The individual will also adhere to established planning protocols to schedule technical upgrades while coordinating implementation timelines with all involved parties.

Effective communication of personal and team progress to project stakeholders is crucial, as is collaboration with project teams to establish work plans and provide essential training, coaching, and guidance to end users or stakeholders regarding solution deployment.

The Senior Solutions Analyst will have some discretion in setting objectives, priorities, and timelines that may influence departmental or individual workgroups, often working alongside managers and functional site leaders as well as external partners.

Work independently with limited oversight by collaborating with custom, packaged, business intelligence, and operations platform project teams to define and implement project solutions, efforts, and timelines.

Ensure that system analysis designs and process maps are clearly documented and communicated with project stakeholders and MIS management. Present solutions to the architecture review board to ensure compliance with architectural, security, data integration, and identity protocols.
Address complex issues by breaking down business and systems requirements into functional and technical specifications. Align solutions with MIS strategy. Collaborate closely with project stakeholders and process leads to identify pain points, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for modernization. Resolve and evaluate a broad spectrum of issues and propose variations in approach.
Work with internal and external teams to define process enhancements, focusing on automation and self-service capabilities. Engage with process owners to understand tactical and strategic plans that support operations. Provide project-specific insights to contribute to the overall strategic roadmap for a domain. Analyze unusual situations and apply advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify root causes.

Manage projects, advocate for and educate project teams on planning protocols, communicate effectively with all stakeholders, promote agile methodologies, and drive rapid, iterative delivery of value.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of experience in managing technical solution implementations; OR
Associate's degree with seven (7) years of experience in managing technical solution implementations; OR
High School diploma or equivalent with nine (9) years of experience in managing technical solution implementations.
Communication: Develop communication plans and RACI charts suitable for diverse audiences
Generate informative status reports for program leadership
Articulate project objectives and the value added
Effectively convey findings and outcomes achieved

Process Analysis: Capable of breaking down a business process into system workflows and decision trees
Proficient in translating business processes into system requirements
Able to recommend process options with an emphasis on standardization and self-service

Implementation: Define and oversee technical implementations on medium-complexity projects
Capable of explaining, coaching, and advising end users on proper configuration and system utilization
Develop change management plans with appropriate training and communication strategies

Preferred Qualifications:
Recent graduates with a relevant degree (MIS, Computer Science, etc.).
Successful internship experience focusing on applicable business processes, IT services, and/or technology solutions.
Familiarity with Microsoft Online (O365/M365) environment, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Whiteboard, Delve, Word, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Experience with Agile project management methodologies and collaboration with Developers, Architects, and Business Customers.
Direct experience working with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and gather solution requirements.
Experience in analyzing business processes and utilizing requirements to develop common data models.
Proficient in data analysis and manipulation.
Familiarity with Visio and project management software (MS Project, Planner, AzureDevOps).
Understanding and demonstration of Freeport Edge principles and behaviors.

Criteria/Conditions:

Personal protective equipment is mandatory when working in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing, or plant environment, including hard hats, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as necessary, respirators, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves, and any other required protective gear.

What We Offer You

The estimated annual salary range for this position is currently $109,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not encompass bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
