Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Business Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring that the development efforts align with the organizational objectives and requirements. This position is responsible for defining clear specifications and ensuring a comprehensive end-to-end solution is recognized and agreed upon by both the BI development team and the business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review business-oriented deliverables created by the BI analysts against user acceptance criteria to ensure accuracy and completeness before they are made available to the business.
- Engage with business stakeholders for any necessary follow-up once the deliverables are completed.
- Act as a center of excellence within the Business Intelligence function, focusing on identifying needs, gathering requirements, and maintaining reports, dashboards, visualizations, and models for the organization.

This high-profile role will collaborate with data analysts, engineers, modelers, and scientists to comprehend solution details that meet business requirements. Additionally, this position will work with various teams to communicate feasibility and constraints of solutions.

Additional Duties:
- Serve as a backup for team members in supporting intake and requirement discovery processes, including managing the ticketing queue and documenting detailed technical requirements and user acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to the creation of internal documentation relevant to data warehousing and software development lifecycle practices.

What You Will Do:
- Validate the quality and precision of business-facing deliverables against user acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure that requirements are thoroughly understood and accurately implemented.
- Collaborate with business analysts on any identified defects or performance challenges.
- Follow up with requestors to ensure proper usage and adoption of the solutions provided.
- Develop test cases tailored to business requirements and maintain a suite of regression test plans.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- A Master's degree in Business or Information Technology is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analyst role is required.
- At least 2 years of hands-on IT project experience in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple medium to large complexity projects with minimal oversight is essential.
- Experience in the information technology and/or banking/financial sector is preferred.

Skills:
- Proficiency in databases and the development of reports, dashboards, visualizations, and analytical models is required.
- Competency in using JIRA or similar work management software is necessary.
- Ability to write basic SQL queries is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work across various functions is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks within time constraints is required.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills are necessary.
