Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers through various communication channels including phone, email, and fax.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding customer service inquiries, order statuses, and product knowledge.
- Process customer orders, modifications, and returns efficiently.
- Address customer complaints by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and offering recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Supervisor as needed.
- Maintain and update the customer database to ensure accurate tracking of account details, order statuses, and lead times.
- Deliver prompt feedback on service disruptions or customer issues.
- Work in conjunction with Sales Representatives on quotes and order updates.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any hazardous conditions.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

- Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, and AS400 Software.
Educational Background
Associate's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in the manufacturing or construction sector is required.
