Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, and materials.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet and Safety Manager on security measures.
  • Act as the primary responder for emergencies and alarm situations.
  • Train, mentor, and develop facility staff to enhance retention.
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Oversee payroll input and approval processes.
  • Continuously assess areas of responsibility to improve productivity.
  • Promote an open-book management style through exemplary leadership.
  • Achieve monthly financial targets as set by the organization.
  • Prepare and monitor the annual operational budget.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and turnover rates.
  • Coordinate logistics and handling strategies effectively.
  • Schedule and manage third-party vendor engagements.
  • Purchase materials and organize inventory for seamless operations.
  • Audit product quality and enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of operations management principles.
  • Experience in budget development and oversight.
  • Knowledge of financial and business best practices.
  • Proficient in financial forecasting.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective planning, multitasking, and time management abilities.

Work Environment:
The Supply Chain Operations Leader will primarily work in an office and warehouse setting.

Physical Requirements:
This role may involve physical tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting or moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds. There will also be periods of sitting at a computer for task completion.

Position Type and Hours:
This is a full-time position, with workdays typically from Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturdays. Work hours may vary.

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this position.

Education and Experience:
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in operations management or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
