POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is designed for candidates who are willing to be based in the Nashville or Memphis area.

This is a lucrative opportunity with potential for commission earnings.
Base Salary Range is $85,000 - $110,000
Commission with OTE $50,000 - $160,000
Vehicle Allowance


The Regional Sales Manager is tasked with cultivating new business prospects by establishing connections with commercial insurance adjusters, consultants, and brokers within the designated region and beyond.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Within the assigned region and nationally, as necessary.

  • Engaging in business development activities
  • Conducting face-to-face meetings
  • Generating new leads
  • Managing a diverse mix of business

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Business Development
Within the assigned region or in any geographic market where clients are located

  • The expectation is that 75% of time and effort will focus on the designated region, while 25% will be allocated outside this area.
  • Identifies, nurtures, and develops new and existing business relationships to enhance referral opportunities.
  • Locates, presents to, and sells BluSky's services to new clients and prospects.
  • Collaborates with a defined list of insurance adjusters, consultants, and brokers managed through Salesforce.
  • Maintains active membership and engagement in targeted associations.
  • Prepares and delivers sales proposals.
  • Meets sales activity KPIs through client/prospect meetings, events, and outreach.
  • Records all business development activities in Salesforce on a daily basis.
  • Achieves annual individual sales targets.
Marketing
Within the assigned region or in any geographic market where clients are located

  • Collaborates with leadership to strategize association involvement levels and budgets.
  • Represents BluSky at tradeshows, golf tournaments, and promotional events.
  • Plans, organizes, and participates in tradeshows and other marketing functions, including charitable events and networking activities, many of which occur after standard business hours.
General Responsibilities

  • Remains knowledgeable about BluSky's services and related terminology.
  • Adheres to company employment standards and best practices.
  • Consistently provides high-quality internal and external customer service.
  • Positively contributes to the BluSky culture and community.
  • Undertakes any other duties or projects as assigned.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:
This position does not have direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience working with commercial brokers and in the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Must be available to attend networking events 2-4 evenings per week.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with inputting and tracking sales-related data in a CRM system.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • A proactive, driven, and team-oriented attitude is essential.

EDUCATION:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
