About the Job
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Senior Sales Executive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in closing large deals. You will work closely with our product team to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and close deals within your assigned territory.
Job Description
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
* Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual targets
* Building and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients
* Identifying new business opportunities and expanding client base
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to customers
* Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in software sales, preferably in a similar industry
* Proven track record of success in closing large deals (average deal value: $90k)
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong understanding of software sales principles and industry trends
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
What We Offer
* Competitive base salary: up to $140,000
* Significant bonus earning potential (up to 100% of base salary)

Location
This role is based in Houston, but you will have the flexibility to work from home most of the time. You must be commutable to Houston to attend meetings and collaborate with colleagues.
