Your Impact:


The SiriusXM Media Business Operations team is in search of a Business Operations Manager to enhance revenue analytics and business strategy for our advertising sales division.

In this role, you will serve as a consultative partner to sales executives, driving revenue growth by pinpointing opportunities and risks through robust analytical skills.


Core responsibilities include forecasting and reporting revenue outcomes, analyzing key revenue performance indicators, fulfilling ad hoc analytical requests, and collaborating with management to formulate insightful recommendations and actionable plans.


We seek a proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on revenue generation and strategic development for a rapidly expanding media entity.


What You Will Do:


Assist the AdsWizz team with comprehensive business analysis, including but not limited to, RFP volume and closure rate assessments, historical account expenditure analysis, account executive performance metrics, market trends, and research to facilitate timely decision-making.


Conduct ad hoc analyses, ranging from the creation of new metrics to identifying root causes for revenue fluctuations.

Oversee the development and ongoing production of all recurring advertising reports for sales executives and their teams.

Facilitate regular business reviews with key sales stakeholders to help the team concentrate on incremental revenue opportunities.

Support the formulation and justification of monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.

Identify avenues for enhancing current reporting formats, processes, and systems.

Lead the preparation of annual revenue objectives and specific account strategies by region, DSP, line of business, account executive, site, and account.

Clearly communicate cross-platform and multi-national revenue performance to an executive audience.


Develop detailed compensation frameworks and implement them at an individual level; collaborate with the internal compensation team to continuously refine plans to achieve desired outcomes.


Collaborate with the sales team on strategic account evaluations and identify opportunities to enhance revenue per account and optimize sales costs.


Foster and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across various departments, including finance, operations, HR, and legal.

Stay informed about media, technology, and competitive publisher trends, as well as developments in digital advertising.

What You Will Need:
5 years of experience in business strategy, analytics, planning, or a related field. Previous experience in digital media is highly preferred.

A strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities to dissect complex issues and formulate thoughtful recommendations and action plans.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey the results of complex analyses clearly.

A genuine passion for digital media and consumer internet, coupled with a strong intellectual curiosity.


Proven ability to persuade, build consensus, and collaborate effectively with all levels of management, both internally and externally.


Demonstrated initiative and leadership in managing projects with minimal supervision, while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and influence in decision-making.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and PowerPoint (or equivalent Google suite skills)

Experience with Salesforce data is essential.

Strong familiarity with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.

Knowledge of SQL is a plus.

Must possess the legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully evaluate a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can lead to variations in your compensation.

We anticipate that the base salary for this position will range from $80,000 to $120,000, depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience.

Additionally, this role may be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
