About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Laser Development Specialist to join our team at nLIGHT. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Principal Investigators in nLIGHT's laser research and development programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to cross-functional development teams to deliver innovative lasers.
  • Apply theoretical and experimental understanding of lasers and optics to develop next generation of commercial lasers.
  • Document and present designs, processes, and results for internal design reviews, external program reviews,
  • Perform all aspects of hands-on optical alignment of high power lasers
  • Test and characterization of high power lasers
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with 2+ years of experience in high tech industry doing R&D and a Bachelor's degree in physics, optics, chemistry, engineering or other physical sciences.
