Position Overview:

The Ozark CSCMP Customer Service Associate plays a crucial role in overseeing delivery timelines to guarantee the prompt arrival of goods and materials to client destinations. This position involves managing critical information and transactions to ensure timely deliveries by monitoring shipments for collection, estimating arrival times, and addressing any load recovery needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the Transportation Management System (TMS) to input and manage customer orders.
  • Collaborate closely with carriers to confirm timely deliveries by regularly checking shipment statuses and maintaining transportation partnerships.
  • Engage with team members from various shifts to ensure seamless communication.
  • Complete daily logs and checklists to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Assist customers in resolving any transportation-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings for clients.
  • Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or some college education is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing urgent situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook, are essential.
  • Ability to learn and operate various company and client transportation systems and applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to work various shifts as needed, with flexibility in scheduling.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of the role.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary and comply with all employment requirements, including background checks and drug screenings.
