  • Collaborate with Diagnostics System Specialists and liaise with various departments such as Engineering and Quality to enhance the diagnostic process.
  • Resolve dealer inquiries efficiently to prevent backlog development.
  • Communicate solutions to technicians via phone, email, and the Global Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) system.
  • Support management in directing service needs to ensure high-quality, continuously improving support.
  • Conduct preliminary triage of ECU (Electronic Control Units) software log events, focusing on Infotainment and Connectivity modules.
  • Work closely with module engineers to identify and address existing or emerging issues.
  • Identify ECU software for all relevant ECUs on target vehicles.
  • Handle complex inquiries from dealers with precision and efficiency.
  • Utilize deductive reasoning to make informed business decisions.
  • Multitask effectively while maintaining Technical Service Request (TSR) databases and ensuring accuracy in information validation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and manage open requests appropriately.
  • Possess a solid understanding of automotive hardware and software issues, including their causes and remedies.
  • Facilitate seamless issue resolution with a focus on timely and accurate solutions for technicians.
  • Review and validate TSRs from dealers, ensuring historical data accuracy.
  • Escalate issues professionally to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and targets.
  • Respond promptly to escalations received.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Support and Technical Assistance.
  • Proficient in automotive hardware and software systems.
  • Experience in managing customer complaints and delivering excellent service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Team-oriented with strong situational awareness.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
