About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Research Analyst to join our team at ManTech International Corporation. As a key member of our Air Combat Command's Analysis Division, you will play a critical role in producing analysis to support Air Force acquisition decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and participate in analytical studies and assessments using various tools and techniques, including qualitative, spreadsheet, and computer simulation-based analyses.
  • Lead and assist in the development of analysis plans for trade-off studies of Air Force combat aircraft and weapon requirements, modernization, and new acquisitions.
  • Utilize available data, subject matter expert knowledge, and best judgment to create and maintain input data for computer simulations, including AFSIM, Brawler Air Combat Simulation, CFAM, WEAPS, and JMEM JWS.
  • Run computer simulations and analyze output data, verifying and validating results and adjusting simulation inputs as required.
  • Present analysis of simulation output, including insights, conclusions, and recommendations, in written documents and verbal briefings for review by Air Force decision makers.
  • Attend and participate in meetings as a subject matter expert on air combat analysis and Air Combat Command Analysis Division's analytic capability.
  • Complete computer-based and in-person training as required by the government and company policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or Operations Research, with at least 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Experience collecting and establishing the pedigree of input data, conducting risk analysis, model manipulation, and modification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Top-Secret clearance.
  • Experience with AFSIM or Brawler Air Combat Simulation.
  • Experience in modeling and simulation of modern combat aircraft, other airborne systems, and weapons employment in engagement, mission, and campaign level simulations.
  • Experience developing study plans, including background, purpose of study, scope/limitations, critical assumptions and constraints, measures of effectiveness, study parameters and variables, methodology description, data requirements, and schedule.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience in programming in C/C++, Fortran, R, Python, MATLAB, and SQL.
Clearance Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship and current Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers.
