Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of capability-based operational requirements, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, integration management, configuration management, training, exercise support, and evaluation efforts.
- Assist in the formulation and presentation of ACC's planning and programming initiatives, including the creation and integration of background papers, Tri-Charts, and Resource Allocation Programming Information Decision System (RAPIDS) materials.
- Provide expertise in capital planning and investment strategies, funding management, and spend-plan development, ensuring integration throughout all phases of the PPBE cycle.
- Conduct studies on resource management methodologies, perform weighted assessments, and execute cost analyses.
- Facilitate the development and presentation of various integrations to ACC staff, identifying and evaluating emerging multidiscipline ISR technologies and non-material solutions.
- Monitor ongoing weapon system activities and advocate for ACC/A2 programs to relevant mission teams and corporate structures.
- Ensure compliance with regulations regarding analysis of alternatives, modeling and simulation, and cost analysis strategies, working alongside ISR components and acquisition agents to mitigate operational risks.
- Track and validate ISR tasks and Requests for Information (RFIs), managing associated databases and activities across multiple command levels.
- Research and analyze information and trends to assess costs related to specific objectives and organizational needs.
- Develop recommendations for leadership during periods of rapidly changing program and budgetary conditions, suggesting alternatives to address critical funding shortages.
- Prepare detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for major programs in accordance with relevant financial management regulations.
- Assist in the administration of program budget activities, schedules, and meetings.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
Experience: 8 years of experience in Wing, NAF, MAJCOM, or HAF roles executing PPBE-related activities, with a focus on planning and programming, including:
- Knowledge of the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and associated Air Force instructions, as well as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Experience in program management and oversight of Air Force Intelligence missions and systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience: Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, including 3 years supporting the DOD.
