Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Operations Analyst to support the Air Combat Command Operations Division (ACC). This role is crucial in overseeing the Combat Air Force's (CAFs) involvement in various exercise programs and in the meticulous planning and execution of the ACC Flag exercise program, ensuring the delivery of highly skilled personnel for Joint Warfighting Efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, budgeting, and execution of ACC's participation in the JNTC/JTCP funding initiatives.
  • Compile and prioritize ACC's Program Budget Requests for JNTC.
  • Advise on the allocation of funds for Joint (Sister Service) participation in the ACC Flag Exercise Program, submitting recommendations to branch managers.
  • Develop necessary background documents, presentations, and reports for higher headquarters and command inquiries.
  • Coordinate requests for funding inputs from subordinate units, collaborating with ACC exercise program managers to establish and maintain a prioritized list of JNTC PBRs, which will be published in the Joint Coalition Warfighting (JCW) Joint Investment Database.

Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance is required.
  • A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Completion of an Air Force pilot, navigator, or air battle manager course is essential.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in higher headquarters, with a focus on:
    • Coordinating multi-disciplinary requirements from various functional representatives.
    • Creating and presenting decision briefs to ACC, HAF, and JCW staff.
    • Implementing relevant Air Force Instructions and managing the Global Exercise Schedule and Joint Training Information Management System.
