Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of capability-based operational requirements, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) assistance, integration management, configuration management, training, exercise support, and evaluation processes.
  • Contribute to the formulation and presentation of ACC's planning and programming initiatives, including the creation and integration of background papers, Tri-Charts, and Resource Allocation Programming Information Decision System (RAPIDS) slides.
  • Provide expertise in capital planning and investment strategies, including funding management and spend-plan development; integrate tasks throughout all phases of the PPBE cycle.
  • Conduct studies on resource management methodologies, weighted assessments, and cost analyses.
  • Assist in the integration of emerging multidiscipline ISR technologies and non-material solutions, and present findings to ACC staff.
  • Monitor ongoing weapon system activities and advocate for ACC/A2 programs to relevant mission teams and corporate structures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines regarding alternative analysis, material, and non-material solution modeling and simulation, and cost analysis strategies.
  • Track and manage ISR tasks and Requests for Information (RFIs), overseeing project-related databases and activities across multiple command levels.
  • Research and analyze information and trends to assess the costs associated with achieving specific organizational objectives and needs.
  • Develop recommendations for leadership during rapidly changing program and budgetary conditions; propose alternatives to address critical funding shortages.
  • Prepare detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for major programs in alignment with DoDFMR R and AF financial management publications.
  • Assist in the administration of program budget activities, schedules, and meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
Experience: 8 years of experience in Wing, NAF, MAJCOM, or HAF roles executing PPBE-related activities, focusing on planning and programming, including:
  • Familiarity with the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and associated Air Force instructions, as well as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Experience in program management and oversight of Air Force Intelligence missions, organizations, systems, architectures, basing, and modernization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, including 3 years supporting the DOD.
