Job Overview

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of Security Clearance Evaluator.

Position Summary:

The Security Clearance Evaluator will provide adjudication support and administrative services essential for the management of security programs at SECCEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and interpret investigation results to advise on employment suitability, credentialing, and security clearance eligibility.
  • Summarize investigative findings on adjudicator worksheets, recommending approval or disapproval while noting relevant suitability factors and security protocols.
  • Evaluate and address serious derogatory information.
  • Identify the need for further inquiries to clarify conflicting or negative information.
  • Prepare requests for additional investigations and gather necessary information to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct preliminary reviews of National Security, Fitness, or Suitability cases for final government adjudication, ensuring a minimum of 3-5 cases are processed daily.
  • Document all adjudicative actions within the Integrated Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Adhere to established standard operating procedures and utilize applicable guides.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the adjudicative process.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in making national security or suitability determinations.
  • Adjudicator Professional Certification (APC) is mandatory.
  • Four years of specialized adjudication experience without the APC.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a favorably adjudicated T3 or higher Background Investigation.
  • Must maintain a Secret Clearance.

Essential Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of investigative requirements for background investigations.
  • Experience in reviewing and assessing Reports of Investigations (ROIs).
  • Ability to make informed security and suitability determinations.
  • Proficient in preparing written evaluations and documentation.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of personnel security administration, Adjudicative Guidelines, and clearance procedures.
  • Familiarity with e-QIP, CVS/PIPS, NP2 Portal, and DISS.
  • Ability to develop operational procedures and security training materials.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be capable of performing tasks that include sitting, bending, reaching, standing, and walking.

Communication Skills: Exceptional customer service skills through both verbal and written communication.
